Paramount Pictures has announced that Beverly Hills Cop 4, starring Eddie Murphy, is set for release in 2024. The film will be directed by Mark Molloy and written by Will Beall, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Etten.

Murphy will return to his iconic role as Axel Foley, the Detroit cop who first came to Beverly Hills in 1984. The film will also star Judge Reinhold, Kevin Bacon, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

In the new film, Foley's daughter is threatened, and he teams up with her to track down the criminals responsible. The film is expected to be a mix of action and comedy, and it is sure to please fans of the original trilogy.
