Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has wished his friend and rival Neeraj Chopra of India the best for the javelin throw final at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Nadeem, who finished fifth in the Tokyo Olympics, is hoping to improve his performance in Paris. He has been training hard and is determined to give his best shot at the Olympics.
Nadeem suffered a left knee injury at the National Games which forced him to miss the Asian Championships in Bangkok and the 2022 Asian Games. However, he has now recovered from the injury and is back to training.
Chopra is the favorite to defend his gold medal in the men's javelin final. However, Nadeem is confident that he can challenge Chopra and win a medal for Pakistan.
The men's javelin throw final will be held on August 10, 2024. Nadeem will be competing against some of the best javelin throwers in the world, including Chopra.
