Geralyn Graham Found Guilty In Rilya Wilsons Death
Missing Miami Girl's Caretaker Convicted After 15-Month Disappearance
Geralyn Graham Found Guilty in Rilya Wilson's Death
Over a decade after the mysterious disappearance of Rilya Wilson, a Miami foster child, her caretaker, Geralyn Graham, has been found guilty of her murder.
Rilya Wilson vanished from Graham's home in 2000 at just four years old. Despite extensive searches and investigations, her whereabouts remained unknown for 15 months, until her body was discovered in a trash bag in 2001.
Graham, who initially claimed that Rilya had wandered away from her home, was later charged with the girl's murder. Prosecutors presented evidence that Graham had killed Rilya and disposed of her body.
After a lengthy trial, a jury has now convicted Graham of first-degree murder and child abuse. This verdict brings closure to a tragic case that has haunted Miami for over a decade.
