Planned dates for 2024-25 La Liga season set

Awaiting green light from clubs and RFEF

The 2024-25 La Liga season, also known as LaLiga EA SPORTS due to sponsorship reasons, has announced its planned dates.

The 94th season of Spain's premier football competition is set to begin on August 16, 2024, and conclude on May 18, 2025.

The announcement comes after a meeting between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and La Liga clubs.

The dates are subject to change, but they provide a provisional framework for the upcoming season.

The 2024-25 La Liga season will be the first to feature the new VAR system, which will be used to review refereeing decisions.
