Circuit Gilles Villeneuve to Host 70-Lap Race

Practice Sessions, Qualifiers, and Race Times Announced

The 2024 Canadian Grand Prix will take place over 70 laps of the 4.361-kilometer Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The race weekend schedule has been released, with practice sessions, qualifying, and the race all set for specific air times and broadcast platforms.

On Friday, June 7th, first practice will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time, followed by second practice from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Saturday, June 8th, will feature third practice from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, followed by qualifying from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The race itself will take place on Sunday, June 9th, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time.

Fans can tune in to Sky Sports for live coverage of the race weekend, including practice sessions, qualifying, and the race. BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds will also broadcast second practice on Friday and third practice on Saturday. Online-only coverage of third practice will be available on BBC Sport.

The 2024 Canadian Grand Prix is the ninth race of the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship. The race is expected to draw a large crowd to Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, one of the most iconic tracks on the F1 calendar.
