Wayne Lineker, the younger brother of football legend Gary Lineker, died at the age of 58

Wayne Lineker passed away on 30 November 2022, just a few weeks after the death of their mother Margaret. His death was confirmed by his heartbroken brother Gary, who wrote on Twitter: "My beloved brother Wayne passed away yesterday after a long battle with leukemia."]

The broadcaster and former England striker posted a picture of the pair of them as children, writing: "I love you bro."

The close-knit siblings had recently reconciled after a long estrangement. Wayne had previously spoken out about his struggles with addiction and mental health issues, and had said that he had been estranged from Gary and other family members for several years. However, they had reportedly patched things up in recent months.

Wayne was known for owning Ibiza's famous O Beach club. He was also a successful businessman and reality TV star. He appeared on the ITV show 'The Only Way Is Essex' in 2015.
